The Layers/Bodies of The Aura*

Friday, June 12th, 2009

Good Thursday evening, Brothers and Sisters In Light! Arthur here. It’s been a wonderful day today… filled with Beautiful Visitors, Friends, and Family. I am feeling so blessed right now, I have no words to properly describe my bliss. I AM happy. Sandye is happy. All is right in The World! I do hope your day has been a smashing one, also.

Today’s Blog will be discussing the Aura/Auric Fields. Increasingly, people are talking about and studying and showing significant interest in the Aura. So here we are. With no further ado, let’s examine the eight (8) aspects of the Aura around a Human’s body:

The Layers/Bodies of The Aura

The Physical body is the most tangible manifestation of our consciousness. Its function is to be here and now, to be conscious of what we do: walking when walking, eating when eating, etc. We are well-aware know the fears of the physical body – sickness, aging and death.

The Etheric body is a thin invisible layer, approximately 2cm thick, around the physical body. This is where the energy is reflected when it flows through meridians and chakras. The Etheric body or double acts as a template for the physical body and appears as an energy matrix. It is described in Chinese medicine as meridians that transmit chi (ki) through the body. Consciousness is expressed in terms of sensations like physical pleasure or pain. Many of our dreams can be found in the Etheric body. With the aid of mantras, symbols, essence, etc., one can affect the function of this part of the aura. The Etheric body is connected to the Root chakra.

The third body is the Emotional body. The emotional body is egg-shaped and contains both the Physical and Etheric bodies. This body reflects the feelings and emotions we have. Emotions like happiness, hope, love, anger, sorrow, hate are all found here. The emotional body is also connected to our past – which can cause problems. The body is laced with wishes and desires from the past. It is important to learn how to handle different emotions during a day; otherwise, there is a risk that they could become suppressed and stored in the emotional body. If that happens, they could later become the cause of blockages and disturbances leading to medical problems. The Emotional body is connected to the Navel chakra.

The Mental body’s function is to teach us self knowledge. The mental body, as its name implies, reflects the conscious mind, logic, intellect and active thinking. We shape our reality with our minds. Our mind is the constructor or the builder. It reflects our ability through which we develop our learning capabilities and ourpersonality. Mental health/mental illness is reflected in this level. The Mental body is connected to the Solar Plexus Chakra.

The Astral body represents unconditional love. It is connected to the Heart chakra. The astral aura is the bridge between the physical world and the spiritual realm.

The Etheric Template body (Divine Will) can be identified with memory and our thought processes. All of our memories – forgotten, remembered or pushed away – are mirrored. The Etheric Template also stores the present and all the possible futures. The Etheric Template body is connected to the Throat chakra.

The Celestial body mirrors the subconscious mind that is a part of the inactive part of an Individual’s brain. By listening to your subconscious, your intuition, you can make your journey through life more simple and rewarding. Consciousness expresses itself as higher feelings like universal love; love that goes beyond human beings and friends into a universal love for all life. The Celestial body is connected to the Third Eye chakra.

The Causal body (Ketheric Template) is the last body. The energies in this body spin with a very high frequency. This is where the soul communicates with the conscious mind via the subconscious mind in the mental body. Consciousness is expressed in higher concepts of knowing or belief systems. This is where the initial creative impulse begins; not just linear knowing, but integrated knowing. The Causal body is connected to the Crown chakra.

Wise Man, Noble Man…

Friday, May 29th, 2009

Good Thursday evening, Everyone.

You know how you never really know how a day is going to go? Have you experience a day like that recently? Well, I’m that Individual… and today (for me) was that day.

I woke up this morning to a phone call from someone that I love and respect and trust completely. And as I was sitting up in bed on this glorious Thursday morning, I was quickly informed that I had done something that disappointed him. Before I could even get the words “good morning” out properly, I was made aware that I had screwed up. Royally. Sometimes, being Human is really rough.

I was instantly reminded of my childhood. In my early teens, in those rare occasions in which I incurred my Father’s wrath, he had a single sentence that he would say that would reduce me to a quivering, apologetic mass of tears and Kleenexes. That sentence was spoken in a calm, low, measured tone: “I am so disappointed in you right now, I can’t even talk to you.” That… that was the absolute worst. I would rather have fought one thousand bitter Ninjas with all their weaponry than to have endured that one sentence.

Which brings me back to this morning. I won’t mention the Gentleman’s name to whom I am referring. He is Family, and he might consider destroying me if I identified him in such a public forum. I’m only halfway joking. LOL. But I am aware of a very cool saying I stumbles across years ago: “It takes a wise man to recognize that he has made a mistake. And it takes a noble man to admit that mistake. I am both.”

I will now speak to he who was there this morning. And you know who you are, Sir. I messed up. I know it. I acknowledge it. I admit it. And I’ll fix it. I know you expect nothing less of me. And I will follow your shining example. As always. Thank you for reminding me of what’s important. Thank you for illuminating my path. And I mean that from the bottom of my heart.

Thanks for checking in here today. See you tomorrow with a new adventure (or two).
